An Android eSIM, set up in about a minute
Setting up an eSIM on Android is copy and paste. The code goes into the eSIM section of your settings and that is it. You need no second screen for a QR code.

Paste instead of scanning
Copy the activation code on the phone you are taking and add it in Settings. If you are on another screen, a QR code is available as well.
Samsung, Pixel and others
eSIM works on most recent Galaxy and Pixel phones and plenty of other models, provided they are unlocked.
Keep your number
Every plan is data only, so calls, texts and bank codes still reach your usual line.
Three small steps, then you are off
- 1
Choose a destination
Look up a country or a region. Prices appear in your own currency.
- 2
Install it at home
Scan the QR code before you leave. Nothing to swap, no SIM tray.
- 3
Switch on when you land
Turn the eSIM on after landing and you are online. Your usual number stays in the phone for calls and messages.
Good to know
- Will my Android take an eSIM?
- Dial *#06#. If an EID shows up, yes. In some countries certain models ship with eSIM disabled, and you can tell because the EID line is missing.
- Where does the code go?
- Typically Settings, Network and internet, SIMs, add eSIM, and then the choice to type the code yourself. Each brand words it slightly differently.
- Can the eSIM move to a new phone?
- No. Once installed, a profile stays on that phone, so install it on the one you will travel with.
