An iPhone eSIM that sets itself up
On iOS 17.4 or later, one tap is all an iPhone eSIM takes. You scan nothing and type nothing, and your usual number stays on the phone.
All destinationsPick your destination
One tap install
Open the link on the iPhone you are taking and confirm. Older iOS versions use a QR code for the same result.
Two lines, one phone
Let the eSIM carry your data while your SIM keeps handling calls, texts and bank codes.
Your current iPhone will do
eSIM works on iPhone XS, XR and every newer model, provided the phone is not locked to a carrier.
Three small steps, then you are off
- 1
Choose a destination
Look up a country or a region. Prices appear in your own currency.
- 2
Install it at home
Scan the QR code before you leave. Nothing to swap, no SIM tray.
- 3
Switch on when you land
Turn the eSIM on after landing and you are online. Your usual number stays in the phone for calls and messages.
Good to know
- How can I tell if my iPhone takes an eSIM?
- Dial *#06#. A line labelled EID means it does. The iPhone also has to be unlocked.
- When is the best time to install?
- Before the trip, at home and on Wi-Fi. Once you land, set the Fizztrip line for mobile data and switch on data roaming for it.
- My eSIM disappeared when I switched iPhones.
- An eSIM profile stays on the phone it was installed on and cannot be transferred. Contact support before wiping the old iPhone.
