Two networks in Spain

Spain plans use Movistar and Orange. One source rates Movistar best in the small villages of Galicia.

Portuguese Way on a single plan

The Camino Portugués passes through two countries, and a Europe plan covers both on the same eSIM.

Add data on the way

Buy enough for the first few weeks, then top up the same eSIM from your eSIM page.

Three small steps, then you are off

  1. 1

    Choose a destination

Look up a country or a region. Prices appear in your own currency.

  2. 2

    Install it at home

Scan the QR code before you leave. Nothing to swap, no SIM tray.

  3. 3

    Switch on when you land

Turn the eSIM on after landing and you are online. Your usual number stays in the phone for calls and messages.

Good to know

Does the whole Camino have signal?
Most of it does. Expect gaps on the Pyrenees stage, in parts of the Meseta, in the León mountains and near O Cebreiro, so save the route offline.
Will my EU phone plan work on the Camino?
It will. Spain and Portugal fall under EU roaming, up to your operator's fair use limit.
What plan suits the Camino Portugués?
Pick a Europe plan. It covers Spain and Portugal on one eSIM.
